British Airways is the flag carrier and largest airline in the United Kingdom-headquartered in Waterside, Harmondsworth, England. It is the second-largest in the United Kingdom when measured by passengers carried. Actually, a British Airways Board was established by the UK government in 1972. They established it to manage the two nationalized airline corporations which are British Overseas Airways Corporation and British European Airways. On March 1974, all those companies including two smaller, regional airlines Cambrian Airways and Northeast Airlines were merged to form British Airways. After 13 years as a state company, British Airways was privatized in February 1987. It was part of a wider privatization plan by the Conservative Government.
The General Medical Council (GMC) announced that an international doctor who wants to work in the UK will face more tougher test before applying to register with the GMC.Following the recommendations prepared from an independent review as commissioned by the GMC, a number of changes are being made to the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) test.
